North Koree suspends peace talks with south

NORTH KOREA SUSPENDS PEACE TALKS WITH SOUTH OVER JOINT U.S. WAR GAMEr
North Korea has said it may reconsider attending a summit with US President Donald Trump if the US unilaterally insists it gives up nuclear weapons.

The highly anticipated meeting between Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong-un is due to take place on 12 June.

It came about after North Korea said it was committed to denuclearising the Korean peninsula.

Delicate preparations are taking place for the Trump-Kim meeting, but this appears to throw it into doubt.

State news agency KCNA quoted Vice-Foreign Minister Kim Kye-gwan as saying that if the US "corners us and unilaterally demands we give up nuclear weapons we will no longer have an interest in talks and will have to reconsider whether we will accept the upcoming DPRK-US summit".

Democratic People's Republic of Korea is the official name for North Korea.
Mr Kim said North Korea "had high hopes that the summit would lead to the easing of the situation on the Korean Peninsula and count as a big step to build a great future.

"However, it is very unfortunate that the US is provoking us ahead of the summit by spitting out ludicrous statements."

Earlier on Wednesday, in a sign of growing difficulties, North Korea pulled out of talks scheduled for the day with South Korea.

Officials were due to meet in the demilitarised zone between the two countries to discuss further details of the agreements they had made at the historic summit last month.

But the North withdrew, angered by the start of large South Korea-US military drills.

The drills - called Max Thunder - had been due to take place around the time of the Winter Olympics in South Korea, but were postponed because of an unexpected thaw in North-South relations.

North Korea had previously said it understood that the drills needed to go ahead.
But KCNA said they were a "provocation" and a rehearsal for an invasion - a return to the sort of language is has used during far more tense times.

I am posting this but personally I think it is nuts. I personally think the Iranian government is quite sane and the genocidal maniacs reside in Jerusalem and Washington.

COVERT INTEL: IRGC Leaders Flee Iran with $4 Billion; Leak info about NUKE ATTACK Upon Israel

13 May, 2018

Three Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders and Massoud Mehrdadi, a senior director of the IRGC-linked "Taavoni Foundation," have allegedly fled the country;  taking $4 BILLION with them

During this dramatic exit,  one of the men used an unencrypted satellite phone to contact relatives.  During a conversation with a shocked and terrified relative, he revealed his departure was necessary because of inside knowledge about . . .
Iran already processing several nuclear weapons and its intent to launch a nuclear First Strike upon Tel Aviv and Haifa, Israel.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) (lit. 'Army of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution' or Sepâh for short) is a branch of Iran's Armed Forces founded after 1979 Revolution on 22 April 1979  by order of Ayatollah Khomeini.
Whereas the regular military (or Artesh) defends Iran's borders and maintains internal order, according to the Iranian constitution, the Revolutionary Guard (pasdaran) is intended to protect the country's Islamic Republic system. The Revolutionary Guards state that their role in protecting the Islamic system is preventing foreign interference as well as coups by the military or "deviant movements".
The Revolutionary Guards have roughly 125,000 military personnel including ground, aerospace and naval forces. Its naval forces are now the primary forces tasked with operational control of the Persian Gulf. It also controls the paramilitary Basij militia which has about 90,000 active personnel. Its media arm is Sepah News.
Since its origin as an ideologically driven militia, the Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution has taken a greater role in nearly every aspect of Iranian society. Its expanded social, political, military and economic role under President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's administration—especially during the 2009 presidential election and post-election suppression of protest—has led many Western analysts to argue that its political power has surpassed even that of the Shia clerical system.
The Chief Commander of the Guardians since 2007 is Mohammad Ali Jafari, who was preceded by Yahya Rahim Safavi from 1997.
The IRGC engages in vast commercial activities, through many business entities.  For these three high ranking IRGC Commanders - all of whom reportedly "skim" vast riches off commercial activities - to suddenly flee Iran was unthinkable.
Only something extraordinary - or potentially destructive - would account for such men grabbing money and running.  A potential nuclear First Strike upon Israel certainly fits the bill as far as a motive to grab the money and run.

MILITARY STRUCTURE

In late July 2008 reports originated that the IRGC was in the process of dramatically changing its structure. In a shake-up, in September 2008 Iran's Revolutionary Guards established 31 divisions and an autonomous missile command. The new structure changes the IRGC from a centralized to a decentralized force with 31 provincial corps, whose commanders wield extensive authority and power. According to the plan, each of Iran’s thirty provinces has a provincial corps, except Tehran Province, which has two.
My former colleagues in the Intelligence Community are working feverishly to get additional information TO ME.  The information is already in possession of several governments and they are all efforting the seizure of these men and the money they allegedly took.
The money is second to the need to know what these individuals know:  Is Iran already in possession of several functioning nuclear bombs?  Is Iran planning a  nuclear first strike upon Israel?

NORTH KOREA LINK

Today, North Korea suddenly walked out of high level talks about the scheduled Trump - Kim meeting in Singapore.  For public consumption, the excuse that the walk out took place over upcoming US-South Korean military drills was put forth.
HOWEVER, Intelligence sources tell me the REAL reason for the walkout is that North Korea knows the individuals named above have fled Iran, with money, and they are already leaking information about the Iranian nuclear program . . . . WHICH IMPLICATES NORTH KOREA.
Rather than continue on a path to nuclear disarmament, certain elements in North Korea believe they may actually NEED the nuclear weapons once Iran does what is being said.  Those elements inside North Korea are said to be convinced that if Iran attacks Israel, analysis of the nuclear fallout will point immediately back to North Korea, which now fears IT MAY BE HIT by an Israel nuclear response!
This is a developing story.  More details if they become available.

UPDATE 8:03 PM EDT --

Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Iranian Assembly of Experts, which answers to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, said that Iran is "strengthening its missile power on a daily basis" and is on the verge of turning "Tel Aviv and Haifa to rubble," according to a translation of his remarks by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI, a regional monitoring organization.
Khatami also took aim at President Donald Trump, saying the Iranian people are "more unified and stronger than ever" in their commitment to the slogan, "Death to America."
U.S. allies such as Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia will become "America's cannon fodder," Khatami claimed.
(Editor's Note: These comments seem to "gel" with the notion that Iran already has nuclear weapons and intends to strike Tel Aviv and Haifa.  It's too "ballsy" a public statement to make unless Khatami already knows what his country's capabilities are, and worse, what its intentions are.  The fact that he is saying things like this publicly may corroborate the signals intelligence mentioned above, wherein one of the men allegedly fleeing Iran with $4 Billion told a relative he was leaving because of a planned nuclear attack upon Israel.)

Image: Iran Cleric Threatens Destruction of Israeli Cities

A prominent Iranian cleric on Friday threatened two Israeli cities with destruction if the Jewish state "acts foolishly" and attacks its interests again, while thousands of protesters demonstrated against President Donald Trump's withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal with world powers.

The comments by Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami followed a week of escalating tensions that threaten to spill over into a wider conflict between the two bitter enemies, who have long fought each other through proxies in Syria and Lebanon.

This is what Turner is referring to - a very understandable response to Trump and Israeli  belligerance. Iran is under dire threat.
